Lots of us are trying to figure out the year, by serial numbers of our 55-9 bikes. I thought if the people who know what year their bikes are post up pics and serial numbers here. Or even if you do not know we could get data to figure out the patterns of numbers as a example my bike has a 7 in the number, I thought it is a 56, but it has no 6 in the vin. Could be late 56 early 7?? Only steel bikes not the early stuff. MB no interest i tried !
