Monark rack 1947?

Weld repair at the front tabs. Good rack in original blue. Has the rear skirt with crown decal. Reference material, page 52 of the Monark book.

I've never seen this rack on a Five Bar. The '41 models used something similar but without the skirt. Some '41 steel frame bikes (not Five Bars) may have used this rack but I suspect this is early post war. I'm always open to be proved wrong though!

I have this same rack on my 1947
Monark Super Deluxe but it’s a maroon color as well as the rest of the bike.
I believe Monark added the skirt on this rack for the 1946 and 1947 models.
Monark then made a change on the 1948 to 1955 models, the “Cheese Grater “ type rack was used.
