Had a pair of these for a while, found them lying in rubbish pile at the old Chicago Cycle & Supply Building on Des Plaines Avenue in Chicago when Schwinn had taken a floor of it over as a staging area for their planned bicycle museum. Asked Jim Hurd if they were available and he said take em’. I miss Jim. Anyone have or have seen a bike with these? Thanks, Mark.

Amazing find, Mark.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I'm sure that must have a great adventure, getting into those old cycle supply buildings with Jim Hurd.
That single tube 24" Silver King tire like nothing I've ever seen.
Interesting that it says Musselman patent applied for.

Really cool tires. Made me go back and check the early Silver King ads. I see that double tube balloon tires were specified with Musselman cords listed as an option.
