One bike I have has one of those license plates bolted to the back fender above the reflector. Is that what your asking?

I spent my junior year of college at the University of Montana in Missoula. There was a guy in Montana that wrote a book about bicycle license plates that were mostly from states in the Midwest.

That's interesting! Do you know of a copy? That would be pretty cool to see. I know a guy in Idaho that wrote a book about Schwinn head badges!! (A very fine book, at that!)
