Montgomery Ward serial number

Just picked this Montgomery Ward up and looking for help with serial number ID to determine year of manufacture. Also does anybody know the year the Sears Slick was made? It came with a Troxel springer polo seat and handlebars I assume someone added...what would be the correct seat and handlebars for the year? Thanks

The M/W youths bicycle looks like a 1956 built by Snyder, with a “B” serial number prefix, (hard to read with so much dirt)?

I have seen a 1956–C, and still trying to figure Snyder’s serial numbers and prefix letters for the middle to later 1950’s; (often mid. wts.).

Yes, '56, built in NY. Would've had regular upright bars, a small seat, and fenders originally.
