Riding my 41 Super Deluxe Autocycle
I might be late to the party on this but wanted to post in case it helped others. I replaced a Morrow 1/2" chain 18 tooth cog with a Morrow 1/2" chain 20 tooth cog. Unfortunately when i put the wheel back on the bike the chain would not sit on the new cog. When compared to the 18 tooth the 20 is thicker. Now i know.. Anyway, i am back on the hunt for a narrow profile 20 or 22 tooth Morrow cog and driver. 🙂

Sounds like the wider cog sprocket might be 3/16” width versus the usual 1/8” width?

Larger 3/16” width x 1/2” pitch bicycle chain is available, and I believe that Westfield once used 3/16” width x 1/2” pitch chain ring front sprockets.

The 3/16" rear cog was used for CWC bikes. I have a pair of 1941 girls bikes that both are half inch pitch with these wider chain rings as well as rear sprocket is also wider.

A good buffing should take care of the problem shouldn't it? We're only talking about a 16th of an inch. 🤣
