Finally riding a big boys bike
Is there a good how to out there for adjusting/repacking a Morrow rear hub ?
Got a noisy one here, and the dreaded free turning brake action at random times.
The internals are very clean and nothing appears damaged. .

Thanks Island Schwinn, looks like that might do it.
First time I haven't been able to sort out how to get a hub working right in a while. These things ate tricky...

Anybody have any tricks they've picked up on how to adjust these things ??
I've heard that they were supposed to be a top quality hub in their day, but at this point I have two bikes with
Morrow hubs, and neither of them work right... :(

I have step by step instructions on reassembly but the file is too large to attach. If you give me your email I will send.

Awesome, thank you very much!
I'm going to try and reassemble with the directions posted in the thread linked above...if that doesn't do it
I'll for sure be PMing you :)

Thanks for all the help folks!
The above link to an earlier thread contains the trick to these hubs.
Unlike the other coasters that most of us are used to rebuilding, these hubs
have a slightly unusual reassemble which involves taking apart the brake arm side.

I did have to sort out one issue with the growling, grindy sounds that others also seemed to be having.
It went away after I backed the cone off about 1/8th turn looser than I'd usually set it.
Pretty awesome hub when it's all put back together !
