Morrow "v" Rear Hub ??

-

I live for the CABE
Cleaning up my Mobicycle and this is the rear hub on it. A Morrow "V" . Small barrel with interesting internals.
I have never seen one. Is there a thread on here somewhere with info ? What years they were made. I don't see the typical date code stamped in it.

I just took apart a wheel from a 1927 Schwinn Excelsior, and was puzzled by the hub.
It was covered in old grease, so I thought it was a New Departure by the size of it.
But when I took a look at the brake arm, it said Morrow?
So once I got the gunk off of it, sure enough, it was a Morrow. But, not like any one I had seen before.
Morrow V?
All of the internals are completely different from the typical Morrow hub.
It looks like the brake arm would be the only part that could possibly be compatible with the typical Morrow hub.

Definitely an odd one, for sure.
