Motorbike/Antique Bicycle ride to the 60th Annual Model A Pancake Breakfast in Orange,Ca.
Great time yesterday on the early bicycles .. thanks again Cliff @oddball for organizing this ride every year ..
Below are some of the pics I took .. I was able to get the ladies 1923 Mead Ranger that I got 3 weeks back from Tony together so it could be ridden once again after my guess 90 years or more of being stored which inspired me to get my mens Mead Ranger Supurbe which was just a frame on the bicycle stand 5:30pm the night before
Thanks to all that helped with the resurrection of these two bicycles in the few weeks and final days - Tony @theHat with the fork top nut and the correct stem for the mens & the ladies bicycle complete untouched Ranger - Vance Hall for the NOS gutter fenders that I was able to match the dark red frame color which I also did to the new velocity blunt rims before pinstripe master Tom Clark did the fine gold pins - Marty @cyclingday - Cliff M. for a brace repair on the mens bike rear fender which had split at the screw hole - and Dave M for the correct early front hub - ordering the black double butted spokes for both wheel builds and lacing them up for me in a flash
A couple of low sleep weeks but I was able to get the maiden voyages on both and surprise my lady and the little ones for this event ..
