Hello, does anyone know a way to make a custom lighting system for a Murray Astroflite? Intact battery boxes and light fittings are hard to come by. Can anyone show me some examples of how to make one from scratch?

The piece that holds the bulbs will be the tough part to make, I think. As far as power, I've used plastic battery trays bought off Ebay. The switch console would be good to have to both fill in the hole in the tank and also for the switch. There are some repops on Ebay. A caber that goes by shawnatvintagespokes makes them. She may be able to provide you with everything you need.

Note - this is the lens only. The second photo shows it installed in a bezel. The original lenses are pretty much impossible to find, and if you are missing a lens, this will do nicely for you. And like the original lenses, they are thin plastic and should be handled gently.
