Jesse McCauley
McCauley Cycle Works
ca. 1892 Dr. R.S. True's Hygenic saddle and spring - suited for an unrestored museum quality survivor hard tire safety bicycle.
Saddle was discovered hanging from the rafters of a 19th century blacksmith / cycle shop.
This has been on my shelf now for a number of years and I have thoroughly enjoyed studying it but I do not have a bicycle that warrants such a gem.
Period advertisements show and describe the saddle in great detail-
I tried to capture the cool but this one really needs to be seen in person to appreciate entirely.
Saddle measurements:
Top: 14.5" x 8.5"
Chassis : 16.5" x 6"
Shipping will be $50 CONUS - INT'L at cost beyond that
Trade will be considered
