I have the fabric top (black) on my ‘47 Monark and the air-cushioned version on my ‘48 Monark.

Mine has a black fabric top and i believe horsehair pad. i'll have to dig it out for a comparison, thanks for the pictures! been a mystery..,....

I have not posted, but i have been working on her! Its all blown apart and i have done the painted parts (xxx stel wool/wd40). I have been polishing the metal with a scotchbrite wheel!

So who does this? I blew apart the rims and went to town! I uncovered a Bendix front hub! Nice theres matching Bendix hubs! This is so theraputic!
