On Training Wheels
Hi everyone! My sweet barn find last month - yup, rode it over to the neighbour's yesterday. All it required was new tubes, a general cleanup and lube, and rebuild of the New Departure Model D rear hub.
Paint appears original. Badge reads: GEO T SIMPSON SATURN BUFFALO NY. Seat is marked Troxel Elyria Ohio Made in USA. Coke bottle grips. No serial number I can find anywhere on it.
The only other Simpson Saturn I've seen on this forum is the 1890s one. Geo Simpson d 1937, so I'm tentatively dating it mid-30s..
Anyone here might be able to point me towards info on this? Is it as rare as it seems? Thanks!
