Wore out three sets of tires already!
i picked up this mystery tandem the other day, i didn't notice the front seat tube deal until i got to the bicycle, this area looks modified, the rear crank set is a "bolt on" and i think the skip tooth chains are the big block chains, had a bunch of odd ball parts on it from the 70's but had these killer looking super deep fender set which i dont know if original or not, no clue what the thinking was with welding the rear handlebar tube as this seems like overkill and would have way easier to just replace the hardware, not sure what to think of this or the era but still pretty cool i thought
