Finally riding a big boys bike
Up for sale is a pair of Western Flyer white wall tires. The tires are supple and have no dry rot cracks. From the code embossed on the side wall, they appear to be dated 1963. The size is 26x 1 3/8, with an ISO size of 590mm which is suitable for EA3 rims. These tires WILL NOT fit Schwinn S-5 or S-6 rims. They came on Conventry Flyers, London Flyers, etc., but will also fit older English 3-speeds and cheaper American brands of 26" lightweights. They are made in the U.S.A. probably by Carlisle Tire and Rubber. Shipping is 25.00 via UPS ground, to the lower 48 states only. I won't fold or roll these tires.
