Finally riding a big boys bike
Hi there, could use the experts help on identifying this bike. For sale locally. I can't read the badge from pics. Appears to maybe not be 26inch wheels? Any idea on value appreciated. Thanks!

1950 up Hawthorne, made by cwc. Looks to be all there! Pretty sure it's 26" by the spokes in the front wheel.

Early ‘50s CWC built Hawthorne-looks like Adam and I were typing at the same time! Turn the bike over and the serial number will date it.

Thanks..yeah I haven't seen in person yet, just posted on marketplace. Super cool bike but they are asking 750..seems a bit much for it?

Welcome ,Andy cleveland welding built bike! crash bars makes it 50's hope this helps Richard....

What color was it? Sometime in the 1950’s Montgomery Ward offered silver or copper metallic tone painted bicycles.
