MOTS-W would be a 1957 bike, built in Lawrenceburg TN, by Murray for Sears.
M = Murray the maker;
O = Ohio the original company location;
T = Tennessee the transferred factory location (since 1956);
S = Sears the store it was sold in;
W = 1957 wonderful year of bike; ("A" started for 1936).
The style goes back a while; the reinforcing collars on the seat tube were part of a 1947-49 patent 2,491,379.
MOD 502 would be Sears code for a Murray built bike; (MOD 501 was Westfield).
47410 would be the Sears model number, perhaps found in their catalog.
By 1961, Sears was selling the space bikes of the 1957-58 Murray patent 2,855,219.
Looks like the bike has middleweight 26 x 1.75" width tires.

78,361 was a unique sequence number (1 bike after 78,360); but I do not know what the 1st number used was, or when, or for that year.
I believe Murray may have continued the sequence numbering from prior years; not sure how many produced in 1 year, or in 1957.
