Look Ma, No Hands!
Good Afternoon!

Purchased this from a fellow member here and picked it up at Trexlertown swap today. I added the crossbars, stem, moto grips, drop stand, seat, rear rack, and pedals to it all purchased at the swap! Was kind of fun shopping around and assembling this thing. Now my question is, what is it! Is it a schwinn with a store badge on it? Very neat badge too, and its fitting because I live in Philadelphia! Clearly has been repainted, or touched up, but long ago. Very neat bike here, and would love to find some reproduction tubular tires for it to ride, but for now its a beautiful display piece. Alot of great patina. Eventually want to replace the junior seat for a full size one maybe a decent troxel or messinger seat. Any help would be great! Unfortunately the serial number is illegible, but 2 and 0 are present.

I don't think it is a Schwinn. When this bike was posted by the previous owner there wasn't a definitive answer of the maker. Maybe your photos will help. I'm kinda leaning towards a Snyder built bike.

Crist and Edward' was a catolog company that built bikes out of parts purchased mine has Miami chainring lot of bike companies going out of business lot of stock to be bought great bike

Little update, I overhauled the wheels, replaced the valve stems in the singe tubes and put slime inside the tires and aired em up and they've held air for two days now! Just went on a 3 mile ride, and although the wheels are far from true, it was a pleasant ride. Cleaned up everything else and its a rider again. Dont really plan to ride it alot, but I like to keep my bikes in a condition where I can air up the tires and hit the road.
