New member! I purchased this gorgeous Roadmaster a few weeks ago and I just love It!! I found the serial number on the bottom of the crank but can't seem to locate any info on it. I was told when I bought it that they thought the year was a 1959 to 1962. The bike is all original with the exception of the clear spoke reflectors. It's never been painted and the horn and the light works. Plus it has the original star sprocket. I need help with dating and value of the bicycle. I would appreciate any help!! Serial number J51691.

What's super neat is at that time, Roadmaster was using up parts it had, so each Roadmaster ends up being a bit different. Yours has a super cool rack from the men's Luxury Liner that dates mid to late 50s. I'm thinking those jeweled reflectors attached to it are after market, but the color couldn't be more perfect!

The bike doesn't need a thing aside from a ride around the block now ;) it's such a great color and it's super clean!

Thank you Kstone! I love the color and star sprocket and basically everything about it. I take it vintage Volkswagen car shows and ride it around. I wondered about the jeweled reflectors myself but you're right, the color is awesome! Plus it has some little green dice on the valve stems that I'm sure was added by the original buyer but they look so neat with the bike. I bought it to keep and ride! Definitely a Keeper!

I wonder if there was a model name (decal) on the sides of the tank? But the year range sounds right. Nice bike!

Made in Little Rock, so 1957 at the earliest. The star chain ring was used through the mid '60s, but I think late '50s is right. No serial info available for amf after '56. Probably worth $200 or so, being a girls' bike.
