Need help on serial numbers

Have a schwinn with serial number 180028 or maybe I80028

Serial number under the crank, ixxxxx number would be early 1946.

Yes it is under the crank! My buddy Carmen(owns Carmen's bicycle shop) and I could not find it anywhere.. and the old man is great with his schwinn history! I even tried this bicylehistory.org on the internet and it couldn't even find it on their data base! Thanks for your help bud!!
