Need help to ID of bike

Old looking bike frame of a Hiawatha ID # 100 86 12 1 i would really like to know about the year and model of this frame thanks for any information you can give.

Hiawatha was sold by Gambles Department stores. They used several bicycle companies to produce their Hiawatha branded bikes. I’d guess your bike is 50’s. From the pics the wheels look like 24 inches? It’d be for young kids.

I thinK they are more like 20inch wheels the frame is Pretty small all together

Headset cup - narrow and flush with the head tube looks "Shelby" - (also on the badge).
So, Shelby was a ToC concern, that did not sell retail, (i.e., to regular folks), until many years later, hard to find older Shelby wholesale info.
Chain ring or front sprocket looks like a Wald, Marysville aftermarket item.

I agree 1950s and it was probably just called "Youth" or "Juvenile" Model or something similar. V/r Shawn

I am thinking early to mid 50's Shelby also. Never seen the SHEL on the head badge before. Cool little bike!
