I accepted an offer for the bike from a fellow caber who contacted me first and offered a fair price in my opinion and is sold. He has plans to fully restore it and complete it far beyond my resources. Sad to see it go, but glad it is going to a good home and very excited to see it progress into a beauty

I have to give credit to the gender bender from way back. They actually bent the bars to flow w/the frame! Most you see are a bit crude, with a piece of straight pipe stuck in there.

I was thinking the same. If they had done the mid-tube to meet at the lower seat stay it would actually look pretty good! Will look better when restored to a step through as it should be though.

Yeah they did a decent job, seems that a cut off wheel and a couple hours of careful grinding would take care of it
