I have an original 1890's TOC Buffalo Wheel Co. ladies Niagara model 61, made in Buffalo, N.Y, U.S.A.
serial seems to be 43064
can anyone find information on this company and model?

very cool ...........Buffalo wheel works 1890's.......probably can find production years if i look.
Production facility on jewett pkwy in buffalo.
I think they only had a ladies model, also badged as "maid of the mist".

they have an awesome bike ..... wow, looks to be an early to mid 90's design

crazy how similar the headbadge is to the headbadge on my ERIE from Queen City Cycle Co, also in Buffalo, N.Y.

I think your Niagara is circa 1898-99. References say 1898 was first year of flush frame joints. Some info below. More to come.

The changes over time are interesting; perhaps connected to eventual ABC or Westfield Niagara bicycles, (or even Emblem Erie) of later years; or not?
