Need info on this Cadillac badged Bike

look at pics would like to know year and who made this It is a skip tooth bike What I can make out on the serial is 55443

Looks like the 5-digits serial number K-55,443 may have an itchy-scratchy "K" prefix. I have two girls, with a "G" 5-digits (Western Flyer), and a "P" 6-digits (Eagle). Thought that one might be post-war and the other Pre-war. I have not made much sense of Shelby's marking system or systems.
