I bought this for my ‘56 Black Phantom but realized before the package even arrived that I really wanted a tan seat. I had it mounted on my DX for a while, but was never really happy with it. Took a while to realize, but, as you can see in the pictures, the springs are in need of some tweaking. I never wanted to take it apart, so I just put it in my parts bin for future use. Let me know if you’re interested or if you have any questions.

The earlier Phantoms used a leather saddle. I believe that black plastic covered saddle is correct for a 59 and maybe even a 58. You need a saddle like the one below on my bike.
