On Training Wheels
I ran across this bike today. It's a green and white firestone 500. I guess the hub is a Perry b-100. The hand grips say Royce's union. The only number I can read is on the back by the wheel but its a297760. The hub has 36-13 on it. It has firestone speed cushion on them. So what year is it and guess on the value. I'll try to out a couple pics on her if I can. Thanks I'm new to this so sorry about anything if I'm doing it wrong

Looks like a Snyder-built middleweight tank bicycle; similar to the balloon tire models but with narrower forks and stays for 1.75” wide tires.
These slightly-different tank-models were introduced to compete with lighter weight English imports of the 1950’s; pre-dating the later space-bikes of the 1960’s.
A date and place code might also be lightly-stamped on the bottom bracket crank hanger.
