These pedals are online right now, and I actually have a set of typhoon cords I can swap out.

Ok

can you upload a photo of the pedals? so I know what to visually look for…I’ve seen some with no stamping some with schwinn stamping instead of the AS like on the phantoms
Sorry, no photos from this old guy.

Schwinn did not make pedals, they would have been from Torrington, or later from Union. They may have the actual brand name or the Schwinn Approved name stamped on the dust caps. They do not look like the A.S. Phantom pedals. Be patient, you will find some nice ones at a reasonable price because it's not a high demand part.

Yup, that's it.

But you might find some nicer pedals? As a rule of thumb, Girls/Ladies bikes have some nice parts and are not in high demand.

Good luck, John
I’m a little confused, are you say “yup that’s it” to a pair of pedals I uploaded?

I usually use eBay as a last resort for purchases

As seen in the 1953 Schwinn Dealer Catalog. The specs speak broadly about the pedals so you really have as much latitude as you might want. I can't remember for sure, but during that period, many of the "approved" components were coming from Germany, I think.
