As seen in the 1953 and 1954 Schwinn parts and accessories catalogs, Part # 7200 seat post, cadmium plated, had the script and was available for use on your bike.

Torrington JR pedals are your call for that bike. It would not have had the Schwinn end cap pedals...
They are fairly common. I may have a used pair here ... I'm sure you can find them in relative
abundance here or ebay etc.

Little update on the bike….I took the crank off and it’s stamped “BJ? as & co 22?” Here’s a photo if anyone knows what the letters & numbers mean on the side of as &co..
