Finally riding a big boys bike
This is my newest acquisition a 1948 B6. I bought it from a guy in New Mexico on Facebook. He thought it was a 1952 from the serial number. Turns out it's a1948. This is an OG reverse paint Ivory and Blue with Red pins. Funny thing is,only the fenders got house painted, nothing else. The left side paint is much more faded than the right. These pictures are after a little rubbing compound.

I thought it odd the rack was also blue . I thought it would have been Ivory. It's got a locking springer fork as well. It came with a decent chrome S2 with a ND hub on the rear and a painted S2 up front. I did buy a set of chrome S2 wheels with a complete fore brake set up an ND hub out back. The only thing missing is the chain guard, which I'm lucky enough to have a spare of. Not exactly sure what my plans are for it at this time. I wonder how rare the color combination is. It's definitely on the border between restoration or not.

Be careful with that compound, 0000 steel wool and wd40 works for me, be careful around pins and decals. I love the color combo!
