New Departure D & DD 2-speed rebuilding

Who here has some experience rebuilding/trouble shooting a 2 speed , the type w the small top bar mounted shift lever. I put mine together, and in one of the speeds it just clicks!! Are there any schematics or expanded views? Maybe an assembly drawing? Adjustment tips? Running it on my prewar BFG Streamliner , Thanks all!!

They are very easy to rebuild. Sounds like you don't have the internal spring set in the slot. I have all the factory instructions in a photo album here on the CABE. Just check them out, and follow the directions.

That shows all the parts, but doesnt help with what order they go together, or how to adjust them.
