Cruisin' on my Bluebird
I have some information that I’m sure will be helpful to those with problems with the actuator not threading on axel because shift rod protruding out the end of axel. If you have this issue there is an easy fix , in this picture you will notice that the actuator on a Twin Streak doesn’t use the little floppy pin that stops you from threading the actuator on the axel because it hits the shift rod . To fix this problem simply use a drift punch to remove the pin that holds the actuator assembly together and remove the pin that pushes the shift rod and reassemble . Problem Solved
Look closely at the picture, only the little flat hook part pushes the shift rod , I know the picture is a Twin Streak but this worked on my DD hub.
