I’m working on a New Departure hub Model D and want to switch the chain wheel (sprocket).

What is the best method to do this?

I usually just swap it as an assembly with the driver.

Thanks for the info. I ended up switching the sprocket with the driver.

I think that’s the easiest way. I tried the peddle backwards with that outer lock ring off. Wouldn’t budge for me.
