Look Ma, No Hands!
I have acquired a new-in-box Raleigh Super Grand Prix with 27" frame (yes, frame size).
This is a tall frame if you intend to ride it. The 27" is frame size AND wheel size!
A few photos here after I took the bike out of the box just for photos and back into the box.
Vintage about 1979-80.
The story I was told is that it went between a couple of east-coast US bike shops' stock rooms before recently being brought to the midwest.
I am tall and had considered building it up but I have a Raleigh International that I don't ride.
This clean gem should go to a collector, a tall rider, or a Raleigh fan.
Local pickup or I could deliver to Memory Lane / BG.
Shipping cost extra.

That’s a beauty! Hope you don’t mind (if you do I’ll take down this post) Here’s my fully assembled ‘81? SGP after LOTS of miles. I can attest that these bikes hold up to a lot and ride beautifully. They look nice too. Mine has the ST barcon shifters vs the sellers downtube location.

Thanks! I thought folks could see how great looking these are assembled if I posted mine. I've owned it since new and still do, my first "geared" bike. IIRC mine was the largest frame available, I'm 6'5". Wish I could give you the standover height offhand. They are great riding bikes.
