'Lil Knee Scuffer
Hello all! Been a frequent lurker on this site for some time...finally decided to register and contribute. Been a collector of most things old/antique since I was 10, but just recently started picking up a few vintage bikes. I have 5 kids, plus the wife and I, so that leads to a good size starter fleet of old bikes. I'd much rather they all ride the well-built and stylish classics over the new Chinese junk!! My 13-year old girl got a 1968 Schwinn Hollywood Deluxe (purple) last year, and my 11-year old daughter got a 1954/1957 Schwinn Spitfire at the same time ($20). I just picked up an unmarked pre-war bike yesterday for myself. I'll start another thread with pics of the pre-war to get help from y'all shortly. Looking forward to being part of the group!
