On Training Wheels
Hello. Wondering if anyone can help me identify this bike I was recently given. I know it's a schwinn, but there's no serial number in all the places there should be..... It is a bit rough, and someone painting every square inch red didn't help it's beauty, but it may have saved it from rust eating everything away........ I'm really curious about all the manufactured holes on the rear fender. I think I found a pic somewhere showing it had spokes on it in a half circle.
Thanks in advance for time and help.
Jeff

A lot of similarities to each one, but they all seems to have on be or two things different. I just found d a pic online that looks very similar and they list that on be as a1930 Excelsior???View attachment 735817

Sorry for the typos. Using Swype on my phone makes me want to cuss....
Just noticed there were no forks on the Excelsior I posted, so maybe not [emoji848]

This is not a 1930. The ads Mike posted are likely what you have. The holes in the fenders are for a skirt guard made of cord laced through the fenders--not spokes. V/r Shawn
