Not sure if anyone is familiar with the YouTube channel my mechanics. He's a Swiss machinist and restorer of tools and cool mechanical objects. He's an absolute wizard.

In this video he restores an old rusty scooter. He does a full restoration including molding his own tires and grips ! He machines and nickel plates the hardware too.

Cool video. Well done scooter. It definetly helps to be a skilled machinist with good tools. Lots of metal forming bucks also.
Had to shake my head a bit. All that work and no washers used. Flats and locking washers are a must if it needs to stay together even if it just a scooter.
Or an old bike!
