First off...this bike rides just incredible! Took it for a spin from Redondo Beach here
to Manhattan on the beach strand...smooth as silk like a brand new bike! Overall
a pretty straight forward survivor with the upgrade of Diacompe Brakes and AME
ol school BMX grips. Some chips and scratches but the paint is still vibrant.
Excellent chrome no dings on front rim, very good rear rim.. seat has one tiny
rip on the correct original Permaco. Pedal caps are scuffed a bit, but legible.
Schwinn Knobby Tires are pretty dry, front looks ok, rear has some considerable dry out and
sidewall cracking. Again, rode this for 8 miles... don't advise that, but that's
just me, I ride on vintage tires, no fear.
did not verify date... possibly 79' I would imagine. Can examine
and confirm if it's important.
I would also offer a full recover in leather of the seat for an additional 60.00
to winner...I'll throw in a pair of new import tires as well .... or hit up MRG for
his cruiser knobby offerings...
