Apparently this seller saw the Hoppy for $3,000 and figured any old rusty hulk of a tricycle pulled out of a barn is worth that much - https://www.ebay.com/itm/vintage-sk...155752?hash=item1ed147b268:g:mXMAAOSwXhZZ3k43 - it was a nice Taylor chain drive trike at one time many moons ago. The "American Pickers" misinformation on value seems to have affected the pricing of this one.
