Seller says it's for the 5-seed Corvette. @GTs58 would you comment on that? Although it's hard to see through the packaging there's a large standard blade screw on the outside, I know some Corvettes have the little kidney shaped wingnut but not sure if that was every year. And does it really matter when this is NOS at a decent price?
That shifter would be for the 65-66 Collegiate. The Sprint branded components were used from 1964 thru 1967 but Schwinn changed to the stem mount shifters on the 67 models. The only things in that bag that was used on the Corvette 5's is the lever, cable and friction plate, but the other parts could be used for an incorrect replacement. The kidney shaped wing bolt and lever was used on the Corvettes, Sprint equipped bikes thru 1966 and the Deluxe tandems at least thru 1969.
