Help! I just got this bike and I’d love to get further info on it!
First I want to identify the year and then the missing original equipment like the correct seat, chain guard, headlight, rear rack missing bin? and some info on this interesting three sprocket rear hub?
Any help would greatly appreciated, thanks!
Aireck~

It's Swedish! German Torpedo hub should have a date on it somewhere. Probably had had a rear derailleur at one time- the widget on the chainstay looks like the remains of a chainstay mount? A picture or two of the whole bike would help. I really like the slack geometry! This should be a smooth riding cruiser, if a little heavy. Any back story on where it came from?

The history of the company is here.

If it comes out in the original Swedish, your computer may have an autotranslation into english.

Looking up Nymans Hermes here will give you some examples to look at:

Best Regards,

With the three cogs on the rear wheel it definitely had a derailleur of some type. I didn't realize any European manufacturers used one-piece cranks, this is the first I remember seeing. Interesting bike, thanks for posting!

Thank you all for the replies, great info!
When I get a chance, I’ll clean it up and dig into the rear hub data to see if I can find a date. Still hoping to get information on all those unique things about the bike, but seems like it’s hard to get someone that knows these specifically! Here’s a picture of what I think might be the chain guard that belongs on it…
