I used my Silver Jet for that a few times! Lots of folks thought it was for sale! I had to give them all the crazy price!

All of my bikes have rear carrier racks because 1) they look cool and 2) I use them for errand runs. Been doing it since I was a kid- always thought it was cool to be able to bike and carry something with me that wasn't in my hands for practical purposes. Just yesterday I used my 65 DeLuxe Typhoon to go to my local Ace hardware and pick up some parts for something I was working on in the shop.

Well, the tandem may only be 21 yrs old, and that hardly counts as an old bike here here, but the vintage Willie & Max bags have carried their share of goods.

Seems I never photograph a bike with cargo on it. Found this picture of a package that was supposed to be for a neighbor a few blocks away..........................So I delivered it in style !
