Old Block chain I.D.

Can Anybody give me any info on this old 1” pitch skiptooth block chain please? (Date/manufacturer etc) it was bought from the us, it’s different to other ones I’ve owned as it has outer plates same shape as a roller chain but with solid blocks like a trad block chain! It has a 3/16” block width and logo has a “W” in a sprocket design, Any help appreciated, many thanks in advance

Hi There,

a guess, but perhaps a Whitney chain? They seem to have made many different types. the problem is, I can't find that W logo to match to them.

Sussed it out, it’s a Wippermann track/sprint chain from Germany, I guess it threw me off track as it was bought in America
