I just purchased this old 1935 Bluebird..I don't want to restore but want the original paint. Does anyone know a safe way to remove the rust keeping the paint...or anyone that can do a professional job

I understand and sometimes follow the sentiment of the "love the rust and crust" crowd. However, if you decide later you want to clean and preserve it, then search the Cabe for OA / oxalic acid bath (wood bleach as mentioned above).
Here is what it can do.
P.S. - No, it cannot turn a Lil' Chick into a Stingray - I wish! Pics show two different yeller bikes...same great results.
