Look Ma, No Hands!
This is an old fork that I think dates prior to 1940. I intend to sell, but have no idea what bike it came off of, or a reasonable price to ask. Help?

This was found beside the 1940 Huffman Firestone Airflex tank that had been under a cabinet in my basement for 40 years or more. It did not go with the Airflex. Threaded end is bent. Color is some sort of brown.

Might have been a failed attempt at a cut-down fork; minimum usable length of steering tube would be about ~4+3/4” to fit some ~3+1/2" head tubes; (or just a broken steering tube).
Pretty much a give away part (or throw away part).

But does anyone know what it is? I agree it doesn't look anything like circa 1940 Huffman.
