Old riding toy,

I have no idea of make or year, any info would appreciated. The right side handle is a crank, attached to a chain drive that goes down the tower to the drive wheel. The left side handle operates the steering, the whole tower turns. The decal is missing. Thanks

In the collector book "Riding Toys", on page 145, they show photos of this toy. It's called a "Creepy Crawler" and was manufactured in Japan in the 1950s per the caption under the photos. Other than the one in the book, this is the first one I've ever seen someone come across.
