Old Schwinn date help needed 20 Inch wheels

Early post-war, probably 1946. I'm guessing that's pretty rare.

Never seen one like this before. The headset throws me off because the top has no bearing cup like the bottom. I also have no clue as to value as I've never seen one or know anybody who has ever had one.

The headset is one that was known as a heavy duty. More often used on lightweights. Doesn't use a traditional upper cup. Roger

That's awesome!! Any idea on a rough value? This is not my normal area of bike interest. I'm mostly 30s to 50s 26 inch balloon bikes

As far as the value of the bike if you had a 5 to 10 year old child maybe $25. Some of the things wrong like the chain will be expensive to buy. To me there is no value in it other than it an old bike that I do not need. Roger

Yep, 1946 with a fork from a 24-26" ? Post war Sting Ray build maybe?

Yep I just put the front wheel on and the fork is either 24 or 26. I need a 20 inch fork for it. Anybody got one?
