Old sol light

Still digging out parts, this barn was a gold mine. I stumbled upon this old sol headlight. Can you scholars educate me as to what model bicycle this would have come from? Thank you again for your help and expertise.

I'am no expert on these..these were probably generic and were on many makes.. ill take a guess at early 1900 this probably was run by a batt. can w/ D cells? or a wheel generator ( not shure?) may of been up to the 20's...? sorry more questions than answers...
