I've ran across several different shops that sold Schwinn bikes almost from the very beginning of Schwinn. They all claim to be the oldest bike shop in America. Guthrie Bicycles, out of Salt Lake City says they are 116 years old.

He's not saying it's the oldest bike shop in the nation, he's saying it's the oldest "family" owned bike shop. Big difference. So I'm guessing that the same family has owned it since 1908.
