Once again, need help ID'ing a bike

My Googel searches lead right back to the CABE.

I searched Google for Sear's Elgin ads and couldn't find it.

More advertisements; the odd bikes without the seat tube may have been all the rage in those years.

1937 Murray "Mercury" version of the bike.

Note the price drop, or price premium between 1937 Mercury and 1939 Elgin.

1938 ad may be harder too look at.
