I've recently purchased a schwinn pixie with the serial # G402640 stamped on the head tube.. it also has 2344 on the badge.. the pixie doesn't have the crooked letter "pixie decal but the straight letter with two bars horizontal on either side.. please help me I'd this year please

Not sure if the head badge is the original or not.. but the "G" stamp definitely goes with the bike

July 1984? I doubt it's a 94 model.

During the 1980s, Greenville used the old letter-digit
(e.g. F8 = June 1988) system which Chicago stopped using in 1965,
